2. What are cookies
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. It enables the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login, language, font size and other display preferences) over a period, so you do not have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back to the website or browse from one page to another.
3. Use of cookies
We use cookies to provide you with information adapted to your interests and based on your usage, to have visit statistics which are aggregated, and to optimize the Site user experience.
Cookies are therefore used to perform IT authentications, session monitoring, and to store information about the activities of users who access a website and may also contain a unique identifier that allows for monitoring of user experiences on the website for statistical or advertising purposes.
While navigating a website, the user may also receive cookies and similar technologies on their computer or mobile device from websites or web servers other than the one they are visiting (so-called “third party” cookies).
Some operations cannot be performed without the use of cookies, which in some cases are technically necessary for the operation of the site.
4. Type of cookies we use
4.1 Temporary and Persistent Cookies
There are two types of cookies: single-session (temporary) and multi-session (persistent).
Temporary cookies last only as long as Your Web browser is open and are used for technical purposes such as enabling better navigation through our Website. Once You close Your browser, the cookie disappears.
Persistent cookies are stored on Your computer for longer periods and are used for purposes including tracking the number of unique visitors to our Website and information such as the number of views a page gets, how much time a User spends on a page, and other pertinent web statistics. Persistent cookies help us recognize you as an existing user and will be read by ETS Global when you return to our Website.
Cookies, by themselves, will not be used by ETS Global to disclose Your individual identity. This information identifies Your browser, but not You, to our servers when You visit the Website.
4.2 Different types of Cookies
These cookies are not used for any purpose other than those described here.
Mandatory Cookies
Mandatory cookies are essential for you to be able to experience the full functionality of our site and are dropped by default. The Mandatory cookies ensure that the website is functioning properly. Without them, you wouldn’t be able to use basic services like registration or shopping baskets.
These cookies allow users to navigate based on a set of selected criteria (the language or the products selected for purchase, for example) to improve the service provided to them.
Their purpose is to save temporary information.
These cookies do not gather personal information about you that could be used for a marketing purpose or remembering where you’ve been on the internet. ETS Global does not share this information with third parties.
Analytical Cookies
Analytical cookies can measure the use of the website through Google Analytics and Pardot. The purpose is to analyse the behaviour of our users on the website when they are visiting our website directly or indirectly through our emailing campaigns.
Analytical cookies are aggregated by Google Analytics and/or Pardot and are not used to identify you personally. The pattern data is fully under our control. We have a legitimate interest to use this information to maintain, operate, and continually improve your user experience on our website.
For examples, we use analytical cookies to gather information of visits to the website, including numbers of visitors and visits, length of time spent on the website, pages clicked on or where visitors came from.
We store these cookies for no longer than necessary for this purpose.
Google and Pardot will not share any personal data with third parties. For this purpose, they fully anonymize the data so that it in no way can be traced back to an individual.
Marketing Cookies
Marketing cookies are used to target advertising to our user and are served by third party companies such as Google Ads. Marketing cookies track our user across websites to display relevant online advertisement for you on our products and services. This way we can show you relevant advertisements on partner sites of Google.
We also use Marketing cookies to enable our user to share the content of our website via social media, such as LinkedIn and Facebook. These cookies are placed when you visit our website via Facebook and/or LinkedIn. A Facebook or a LinkedIn cookie is also placed on our website, with which we can later display a relevant offer on Facebook and/or LinkedIn.
Without these cookies, online advertisement you encounter will be less relevant to you and your interests.
You can always refuse these cookies by changing your browser settings or by changing the cookies settings. We have no control over cookies that are placed by third parties. If you would like to get more information about the cookies of these third party, please visit their cookies policy (Facebook, LinkedIn).
Other technologies
Only if you register to receive updates by email, you will receive emails which will contain a web beacon (also known as web pixels or tracking pixel). This will take the form of a small, transparent image, which is embedded in each email. It will be used to send information such as your IP address, when each email was viewed, from what device and which geo-location. We use information about email usage to compile reports and to help us improve our communications. The Site may also collect your IP address which is routinely stored as part of web server log files for 14 days.
5. Cookies management
You may select which cookies you allow to be enabled in your browser through the procedure described here. You may also authorize, block or delete (in whole or in part) cookies through the specific functions of your navigation program (so-called browser). You should be aware that any preferences will be lost if you delete all cookies.
However, Mandatory cookie cannot be disabled when accessing the Website. It is possible to opt out of having your aggregated browsing activity within websites, recorded by analytical cookies. Don't forget that by not allowing analytical cookies, will prevent us from being able to learn what visitor like or don't like about our website and prevent us from improving the usability of the website.
Please note that if you want to opt out from receiving personalized advertisement, this will not impact the quantity of advertisements you’ll receive, but only the content. This means that it will be less relevant to you.
